1. The Service

TendCircle is a caregiver coordination platform that helps families organize care for loved ones. It provides tools for scheduling, health tracking, medication management, and care team communication.

2. Not Medical Advice

TendCircle is a care coordination tool, not a medical device or healthcare provider. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical decisions. Information stored in TendCircle should supplement, not replace, professional medical records.

3. Accounts & Care Circles

  • You must be 18+ to create an account
  • You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
  • When you invite someone to your care circle, they can see shared information about the care recipient
  • You're responsible for ensuring you have permission to share health information about your loved one with care circle members
  • Care circle owners can remove members and control access levels

4. Plans & Pricing

  • Free: 1 care circle, 3 members, basic features
  • Family ($9/month): 3 care circles, unlimited members, full features
  • Professional ($19/month): Unlimited circles, priority support, integrations
  • All prices in USD
  • Payments processed through Paddle (Merchant of Record)

5. Subscriptions & Cancellation

  • Subscriptions auto-renew monthly
  • Cancel anytime — access continues until end of billing period
  • Upon downgrade to Free, excess care circles are archived (not deleted) until you upgrade again or manually delete them
  • Refunds available within 14 days of initial purchase or renewal

6. Your Content

You own all content you enter into TendCircle (health records, notes, schedules, etc.). We claim no ownership over your data. You can export or delete your data at any time.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use TendCircle to store data about people who haven't consented
  • Share login credentials
  • Use the platform for commercial healthcare operations (use Professional plan for professional caregivers)
  • Attempt to access other users' data

8. Availability

We strive for high availability but can't guarantee 100% uptime. We are not liable for any consequences of temporary unavailability, including missed medication reminders or appointment alerts. Always maintain backup reminder systems for critical care tasks.

9. Limitation of Liability

TendCircle is a coordination tool. We are not liable for care outcomes, missed care tasks, medication errors, or any health-related consequences. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid in the 12 months preceding a claim.

10. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This permanently removes all your data, including care circle data where you're the owner. Members of your care circles will be notified.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect.
