Privacy Policy

The short version

TendCircle handles sensitive health and caregiving data. We take this extremely seriously. Your data is encrypted, never sold, and only shared with people you explicitly invite to your care circle.

Information we collect

Account information: Email, name, password (hashed).

Care data: Information about loved ones (names, conditions), medication schedules, appointments, health logs (blood pressure, weight, mood), emergency contacts.

Usage analytics: Basic app usage patterns to improve the product. No health data is included in analytics.

How we store data

All data is stored in Supabase with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled. This means your data can only be accessed by members of your care circle — not even our team can read your health logs without explicit database access.

Payment processing

Payments are handled by Paddle. We never see or store your credit card information.

Data sharing

Your data is only shared with:

  • Your care circle members — only data you've explicitly shared
  • Paddle — payment processing only
  • Supabase — database hosting
  • Vercel — application hosting

We never sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for marketing.

Data retention & deletion

You can export or delete your data at any time from your account settings. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.

HIPAA notice

TendCircle is not a HIPAA-covered entity. We are not a healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse. While we implement strong security practices, we do not claim HIPAA compliance. Do not use TendCircle as a substitute for a medical records system.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data. You can also request a copy of all data we store about you. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Children's privacy

TendCircle is designed for users aged 13 and older. Care data about children may be entered by their adult caregivers, but children under 13 should not create accounts.
